Craigslist Trains Old Dog New Tricks

by upbeat on August 15, 2009

craigslistNever a big fan of Craigslist, I had discarded it completely several years ago after ads from the sex trade had permeated many of its categories.  Then I heard about Cragislist Gigs, went back and tried it. The success exceeded my expectations by miles, hence my sharing it with you and the world right here on my blog. (With the world and you sitting on the edge of your seats, hungry for news from my blog - of course). At craigslist.com, Gigs is for finding people interested in your work, or more specifically, in the work you want to contract out. In my case it was two gigs related to my blogging, and two gigs related to work I needed done around the house. The response was overwhelming, in both quantity and quality. Especially if you have a gig that requires meeting or working together in person (as opposed to in cyberspace), give Craigslist Gigs a try. You might just find the old craigslist-dog has taught itself a new trick.
