"Freedom is nothing but a chance to be better." - Albert Camus
After an accident, the difference between feeling upbeat and being cranky ultimately boils down to whether you dwell on what went wrong, or you remember what was right before the accident. When my grandparents died, I inherited a plaque (pictured on the right) which loosely translated says, "Bright Moments - Don't Cry Over Their Passing. Smile To Have Known Them." Why the plaque ended up with me, one of many grand-kids, I'll never know. I'm just upbeat it did.
